Sick Of Government Overreach, Gun Store Adds Brilliant Note To Every Gun Sale Receipt

Because California is expecting changes in their gun laws, the local Republicans and conservatives living in the Blue state are stocking up on their rifles and handguns before they could lose access to them. Gun stores in California are making a killing in profit off of Californian’s mad dash to get to the shelves and stock up on as many guns and bullets as possible.

But one store has found a way to “stick it to the man” on their Christmas receipts. When you see what is there, you will know!

We all know that a picture is worth 1,000 words, but once the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives sees this picture, they might be shutting down the establishment early – or at least issuing a severe warning. Scroll down to see what everyone is talking about before it’s gone…

Take a look at the receipt from National City, CA gun shop Firearms Unknown. It’s not that fact that they offer no refunds that has this store going viral. It is something much better.

Most of the receipt is boiler plate. You have the information about the store on top and then the item name that was bought. You see that Grover was the cashier.

Take a closer look at the totals and how the money is being charged.

The receipt says: “Govt Theft AKA 9% Tax”

Many people wondered if the image was too good to be true. IJR was curious and contacted the store to find out. The clerks at Firearms Unknown confirmed that they do consider tax to be government theft and that they print this on every one of their receipts.

Maybe this prank is a way for the gun store owner to maintain their attitude while working in a liberal state like California. A little sense of humor is required if you want to stick around.

Since Barack Obama took office in 2008, gun sales have been higher than ever before. Although no significant changes were made in his term as president, gun owners and enthusiasts feared he would take their guns away. Because people have bought more guns, the sales have increased federal revenues to more than $800 million each year.

After the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, where 20 six and seven year old were murdered, by a bad guy with a gun, the government collected $875 because people were afraid gun laws would change.

According to Vocativ, the nearly $255 million in federal tax revenue on ammunition in 2013 was nearly double the 1991 tax receipts for handguns, long guns and ammo combined.

Taxes are brutal on gun owners. The only positive thing that can be taken from it is that our tax dollars pay for the military.

Every year America budgets about $640,000,000,000 for the military. That has only been growing in recent years.

In essence, the tax on your guns pays for more guns for the American military.

Do you think President-elect Donald Trump will change the gun laws?
