Sheriff Says It’s The Worst Sight He’s Ever Seen. Cops Go On Manhunt To Teach Mom A Lesson

While on his route, a rural postal worker spotted two children running down the road. When she looked closer, she realized that they were naked! Where were their parents and who was letting them do this in public?

Because she was concerned, she looked even closer. But that’s when she realized that the unclothed little girl was actually wearing something much worse than her birthday suit.

And at that moment of realization, postal worker Judy Arnold Alexander heard a strange noise that eventually answered all her questions.

Although she has worked for the Sharp County, Arkansas post office for a while now, Judy Alexander admits that the day she saw the child running around naked was not an ordinary day on the job. She was downright shocked to see the 4-year-old and 2-year-old girls running around the country road.

One wore a skimpy nightgown while the other was completely naked.

Because she was a respected member of the community, Judy pulled over and yelled out to the girls. She wanted to make sure they were not in harm’s way and to see if there was anything she could do to help.

When they got close enough for a better inspection, Judy realized the children were covered in their own feces. And they smelled. Judy gagged.

Judy snapped a photo of the girls and shared it with the Sharp County police. Sheriff Mark Counts took action right away.

“The girls appeared not to have had a bath in several days and appeared to be covered in what looked like feces,” Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts said.

Judy couldn’t believe the abuse she had witnessed. She took the two children under her wing and tried to unite them with their guardian.

While helping the little kids, a strange noise came from down the road. As Judy continued to walk, the noise turned into the sound of blaring music. It came from a nearby garage.

“There she discovered 29-year-old Heather Shelton, sitting in a chair unconscious and surrounded by two pipes, a bag of marijuana, and eight bottles of open nail polish,” Counts said.

Judy was horrified. She called the police, but when the officers arrived, they found something worse.

Cops found an 18-month-old baby left alone in the house in even worse condition than the feces-covered duo.

The two elder children often left the house to fend for themselves while their mother Heather sniffed on nail polish and smoked marijuana.

“The little baby boy’s crib had a used diaper in there that appeared to be there for a while, maybe up to a week,” Counts said.

Counts admitted that this was the worst case of child neglect that Sharp County had witnessed in recent years. The children were turned over to the helpful people at the Department of Human Services and were cleaned up.

Meanwhile, Shelton was arrested and charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, one count of possession of a controlled substance, and one count of a possession of an instrument to commit a crime.

Counts is glad that the postal worker was there to help these children. But he is disappointed that this Arkansas mother abandoned her children for drugs.
